Call me the optimist. My winding career path is my strength. My constant desire for novelty (and therefore dopamine) means I bring the excitement, the ideas (probably too many ideas…!), and the I-can-and-will-solve-ANY-challenge thinking.
With backgrounds in interior design and renovation, project management, and sociology, I have yet to meet a project I don’t want to grab by the horns! I’m a fierce communicator, unabashed word nerd, avid community builder, unapologetic over-user of tech tools, and multi-passionate creative.
And I love to utilize ALL OF THAT to drive social change, which I believe comes from high level advocacy, accessible community advocacy, and a persistence only an Aquarius (and maybe a Scorpio) could possess!
If I’m the proverbial ‘pie in the sky’, Chad is the steady anchor… Together, we’re a well-rounded dialectic–complementary forces working together to make the world make sense.
(And yes, we’re life AND business partners, by choice!)

What do the sky and the ground give to each other? The horizon, that fiery glow of possibility, that paradoxical reference point to the sobering end of one journey and the hopeful beginning of another. That is the dialectic that brings Bree and I together in our creative endavours.
My background and baseline is a stitched quilt of psychology, philosophy, literature and culture studies, and health sciences; the thread holding them together is how we make meaning as communities to give purpose, connection, and direction to our individual lives, especially during difficult times. I am through and through a ‘logophile’, a lover of words and how they magically braid into enduring metaphors, swaying arguments, and stunning stories.
I pour my self and time into raising our rambunctious son, crafting with polymer clay and other visual media, gardening, writing poetry and short stories, and wandering and advocating for natural places thick with life. I am a 7th-generation Irish/German/Mennonite/English settler born and raised on Treaty 4 territory and now residing as a guest on Treaty 6 territory, Homeland of the Métis. I strive in ALL my activities to foster the restoration of relationships between people, land, and all the beings that call it home.

Together we’ve helped raise over $10 million in grant funding for a variety of projects across all sectors.
